If you've made it to this page, you've probably spent some time looking through my work. Whether you're planning a wedding, celebrating a milestone, growing your business, or simply wanting to preserve this season of life, choosing a photographer is about more than finding images you love—it's about finding someone you trust.
Before I ever photographed weddings, families, businesses, or mountain homes, I built my career as a photojournalist. My work took me across the country and around the world documenting breaking news, politics, immigration, community stories, and everyday life for publications including The New York Times, Reuters, The Washington Post, and the Chicago Tribune.
Photojournalism taught me to listen first, observe closely, adapt when plans change, and recognize the moments that matter. Those lessons continue to shape the way I approach photography today.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to photograph everything from weddings and families to newborns, businesses, community events, and real estate. While those may seem like very different types of photography, there is a throughline. At the heart of each session is the opportunity to work with people, learn what matters most to them, and create images that feel genuine, thoughtful, and true to the moment.
I know that most people don't step in front of a camera every day—and that's perfectly okay. You don't need to know how to pose or worry about what to do with your hands. My role is to guide you through the experience in a way that feels relaxed so you can simply be present. Some of my favorite images happen in the quiet, in-between moments when you forget the camera is even there.
Just as important as the final images is the experience of creating them. From our first conversation to gallery delivery, my goal is to communicate clearly, stay organized, and make the entire process feel seamless. Whether we're planning a wedding timeline, hiking to a favorite overlook, photographing your growing family, or creating content for your business, I want you to feel supported, prepared, and completely at ease every step of the way.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me exploring the mountains and rivers around McCall, traveling with my husband and dogs, and enjoying everything this incredible community has to offer. Living and working in a place I love has given me the opportunity to build lasting relationships with families, businesses, and organizations, and I'm grateful to play a small role in preserving the moments that matter most.
